St. Mary's Garden
August 2011
Last year, parishioners Jim Balducci and Gloria Febrizio began a tradition
of planting a vegetable garden, the fruits of which were to be used by
Doris, our rectory cook. So this is the second annual garden and as you
can see, it is really producing an abundance of tomatoes and peppers. The
plants were donated by Pasquale Tuosto, a parishioner who owns Pat's Farms.
Pasquale also provided the mulch and soil necessary to enrich the existing
soil, and on top of it all, provided his laborers to plant the crops. If
that wasn't enough, Pasquale installed a water sprinkler and thanks to him,
our plants are performing at their very best. Thank you Pat for all you have
done and continue to do for our parish.
